Spectators: 5030 (Terracing: 4010, Seating: 1010, VIP seats: 10) Cruzeiro EC's Raí de Brito started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hílton Saldanha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Juvenal de Godoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulo José Perez hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Jonathan Mangueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cruzeiro EC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Hílton Saldanha scored to the left of an out of position Juvenal de Godoi, making the score, 1-0. With his leg Juvenal de Godoi managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when KuPs KuoPio's Hílton Saldanha fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 21 played minutes Cruzeiro EC got a freekick which was hit by Durvalino Mandrak. Hílton Saldanha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, KuPs KuoPio's Hílton Saldanha dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. In the 33rd minute Paulo José Perez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moisés Sá saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leopoldo Rocha during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cruzeiro EC's Leopoldo Rocha got a free kick in the 34th minute. After 42 played minutes Cruzeiro EC got a freekick which was hit by Raí de Brito. Jonathan Mangueira was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 44th minute. KuPs KuoPio's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Hílton Saldanha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hílton Saldanha to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of KuPs KuoPio booed when Cruzeiro EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diguinho Alcântara didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Cruzeiro EC's zone, Jonathan Mangueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juvenal de Godoi came out of the goal and Jonathan Mangueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 58 minutes of play, KuPs KuoPio's Hílton Saldanha made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juvenal de Godoi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hílton Saldanha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Juvenal de Godoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hílton Saldanha in the 66th minute of play forced Cruzeiro EC's goalkeeper Juvenal de Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hílton Saldanha in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juvenal de Godoi saved Cruzeiro EC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hílton Saldanha in the 70th minute of play forced Cruzeiro EC's goalkeeper Juvenal de Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Mangueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Juvenal de Godoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Cruzeiro EC's goal looked a bit too open when Hílton Saldanha came free, but Juvenal de Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Cruzeiro EC's zone, Jonathan Mangueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juvenal de Godoi came out of the goal and Jonathan Mangueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Moisés Sá took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raí de Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 89 played minutes Cruzeiro EC got a freekick which was hit by Vivaldo Alvarenga. Jonathan Mangueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute, Hílton Saldanha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juvenal de Godoi was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. When the referee ended the match the KuPs KuoPio players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
