Spectators: 6655 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alex Amorim started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Doni Linhares in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabrício Ceresso saved Sapopema SS from getting behind. Tales Moraes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Delfim Urbano made a huge save. Fabrício Ceresso came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Lider S FC's Sílvio Rosado. But to his dismay, Sílvio Rosado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Fabrício Ceresso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Doni Linhares's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. If Doni Linhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 24 minutes, Olívio Aguiar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sapopema SS and the Lider S FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Sapopema SS getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Olívio Aguiar hit a great ball. Fabrício Ceresso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doni Linhares in the 25th minute of the match. Doni Linhares took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabrício Ceresso. Fabrício Ceresso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Doni Linhares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Wilton Mendes fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lider S FC's protests and gave Wilton Mendes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th minute, Wilton Mendes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Sílvio Rosado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 52nd minute, Lider S FC's Moisés Mattos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Fabrício Ceresso made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Sílvio Rosado sent off a good shot on target. Lider S FC were furious when Edu Pontes was red carded, 60 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Edu Pontes hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. If Betinho Braga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Amorim in the 64th minute of play forced Lider S FC's goalkeeper Delfim Urbano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Lider S FC's Doni Linhares in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sapopema SS's goalie prevented a goal. In the 71st minute Alex Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delfim Urbano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Lider S FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tales Moraes came free, but Delfim Urbano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Doni Linhares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Doni Linhares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Fabrício Ceresso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Doni Linhares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabrício Ceresso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. In the 86thth minute of the game Doni Linhares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sapopema SS's Fabrício Ceresso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Doni Linhares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Sapopema SS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lider S FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
