An unexpectedly hard shot by Sílvio Rosado in the 5th minute of play forced Sport Recife's goalkeeper Jorginho Eger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Delfim Urbano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Guilherme Veloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lider S FC's Delfim Urbano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Lider S FC from getting a goal against them. Sport Recife were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after Lider S FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dino Vasconcelos took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Dino Vasconcelos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Delfim Urbano quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 15 minutes into the match, Moisés Mattos notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Sport Recife's Jorginho Eger. Jorginho Eger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 18 minutes, Doni Linhares made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Sport Recife's Jorginho Eger tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Adelino Vasconcelos's late challenge caught a Sport Recife's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adelino Vasconcelos helped the player get up and apologised. After 22 played minutes Lider S FC got a freekick which was hit by Adelino Vasconcelos. Doni Linhares hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. 32 minutes into the match, Sílvio Rosado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jorginho Eger. Sport Recife's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sílvio Rosado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. With an all-out effort, Sport Recife's Delfim Urbano threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luiz Guilherme Veloso, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 36thth minute of the game Luiz Guilherme Veloso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lider S FC's Delfim Urbano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jorginho Eger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sílvio Rosado, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Sport Recife's goal looked a bit too open when Doni Linhares came free, but Jorginho Eger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sílvio Rosado couldn't finish the play. After having played for 72 minutes, Amílton Vianna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lider S FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amílton Vianna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Edu Arruda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Delfim Urbano was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Jorginho Eger was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Sílvio Rosado capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sílvio Rosado really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. Sílvio Rosado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Jorginho Eger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Afonso Tande hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. 88 minutes into the game, Lider S FC's Sílvio Rosado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jorginho Eger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Lider S FC's Doni Linhares got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 97 played minutes Sport Recife got a freekick which was hit by Cauã Baptista. When the final whistle sounded Lider S FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sport Recife.
