The supporters of VIRAGOS FOOT BALL CLUB booed when Sophia AJ Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Netto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardinho Paraíba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renatinho Vinhas in the 6th minute of play. Richard Baptista made an important save on a dangerous shot by Júnior Palmeira in the 10th minute. João Francisco Fonseca hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute, Sophia AJ Clube's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gláuber Vergílio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Júnior Palmeira took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Richard Baptista. Richard Baptista dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiago Gabriel Bueno in the 22nd minute of play forced Sophia AJ Clube's goalkeeper Richard Baptista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roger Paraíba hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. VIRAGOS FOOT BALL CLUB's Ricardinho Paraíba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Percival Marques in the 32nd minute of play. When Renatinho Vinhas came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Sophia AJ Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Renatinho Vinhas couldn't finish the play. Richard Baptista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gláuber Vergílio in the 47th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gláuber Vergílio to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Sophia AJ Clube getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Manuel Netto hit a great ball. Richard Baptista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gláuber Vergílio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiago Gabriel Bueno charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tiago Gabriel Bueno the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tiago Gabriel Bueno hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Sophia AJ Clube's Thomás Soeiro tried to score from far away in the 64th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Tiago Gabriel Bueno kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gláuber Vergílio in the 73rd minute of play forced Sophia AJ Clube's goalkeeper Richard Baptista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gláuber Vergílio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Richard Baptista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Gláuber Vergílio managed to get in a good position for a shot. VIRAGOS FOOT BALL CLUB's supporters rose to their feet, but Gláuber Vergílio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Richard Baptista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alessandro Zonta kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match.
