Korokas's Denílson Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Régis Quintal in the 21st minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Korokas's goal looked a bit too open when Régis Quintal came free, but Denílson Vidal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Gangsters FC's Régis Quintal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. After 85 minutes of play, Korokas's Flávio Cunha made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The Gangsters FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gangsters FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
