In the 7th minute, URANDI MZB's Osvaldo Pitta dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Sandro Siqueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Renato Aristizábal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Infernales's Aírton Guimarães proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Infernales from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erik Arósio got free with Aírton Guimarães in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The goalkeeper, Aírton Guimarães, was totally fooled by URANDI MZB's Patrick de Lima, who 34 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 39 minutes into the match, URANDI MZB's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Xavier came free, but Renato Aristizábal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Renato Aristizábal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Xavier in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute, Cauã Brasil made a precise shot to the right of Aírton Guimarães. Infernales's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Erik Arósio's late challenge caught a Infernales's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erik Arósio helped the player get up and apologised. Erik Arósio hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. If Aloísio Paraíba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Renato Aristizábal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Beto Toscano went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. After 65 minutes, Cacá Amaral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the URANDI MZB and the Infernales players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 66th match minute, URANDI MZB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cacá Amaral to maneuver through the defense. Renato Aristizábal was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Victor Xavier showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 67 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Beto Toscano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Infernales's supporters rose to their feet, but Beto Toscano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Renato Aristizábal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aírton Guimarães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Arósio, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Infernales's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Arósio came free, but Aírton Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Infernales's Wilton Santana got a free kick in the 77th minute. Afonsinho Quadros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Infernales's Aírton Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cauã Brasil in the 86th minute of play. Aírton Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cauã Brasil in the 87th minute of the match. Aírton Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Arósio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aírton Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Pitta in the 90th minute of play. After some careless play in the Infernales defense, Erik Arósio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aírton Guimarães. The Infernales fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aírton Guimarães should have stopped the shot. In the 95th minute, Erik Arósio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aírton Guimarães was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. Infernales's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
