In the 8th match minute, TodoTorto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Marquez to maneuver through the defense. Donato Soeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 13 minutes of play, Malaquias SS's Orlando Araújo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olívio Teixeira was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Malaquias SS booed when TodoTorto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Soeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute Dadá Vieira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olívio Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olívio Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Araújo in the 23rd minute of the match. Donato Soeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olívio Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Velasco in the 27th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Malaquias SS's zone, Donato Soeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eurico Arantes came out of the goal and Donato Soeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Donato Soeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute, Donato Soeiro fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Malaquias SS's Eurico Arantes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Malaquias SS from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the TodoTorto FC defense, Dadá Vieira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olívio Teixeira. The TodoTorto FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olívio Teixeira should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Donato Soeiro made a kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Malaquias SS's goalkeeper Eurico Arantes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 55th minute Baltazar Loureiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olívio Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eurico Arantes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Soeiro in the 58th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Dadá Vieira dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Olívio Teixeira, 0-5. The crowd rose to their feet as Malaquias SS's Dadá Vieira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Olívio Teixeira. That made the score 0-6 after 65 minutes of play. 69 minutes into the match, TodoTorto FC's goalkeeper Olívio Teixeira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Orlando Araújo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orlando Araújo got free with Olívio Teixeira in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. TodoTorto FC's Jorge Marquez managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Paulão Cunha in the 74 minute of the game. Donato Soeiro scored 1-6 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eurico Arantes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Olívio Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltazar Loureiro in the 82nd minute of the match. If Donato Soeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Malaquias SS to win.
