TodoTorto FC's Olívio Teixeira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save TodoTorto FC from getting a goal against them. 10 minutes into the match, TodoTorto FC's goalkeeper Olívio Teixeira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfredão Lopes. Olívio Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Galvão in the 11th minute of the match. Washington Custódio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodriguinho de Medeiros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the game, TodoTorto FC's Donato Soeiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Washington Custódio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Alfredão Lopes managed to get in a good position for a shot. S. E. Triângulo's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredão Lopes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olívio Teixeira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 25th minute Edu Mineiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olívio Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Donato Soeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfredão Lopes charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfredão Lopes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alfredão Lopes kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Rodriguinho de Medeiros left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TodoTorto FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 39th match minute, TodoTorto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Marquez to maneuver through the defense. Washington Custódio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Soeiro in the 44th minute of the match. 48 minutes into the match, Alfredão Lopes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olívio Teixeira. TodoTorto FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfredão Lopes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Donato Soeiro made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Alfredão Lopes made a precise shot to the right of Olívio Teixeira. TodoTorto FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Jorge Marquez's late challenge caught a S. E. Triângulo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorge Marquez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 59th match minute, TodoTorto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Marquez to maneuver through the defense. Marcus Abraão struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Olívio Teixeira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S. E. Triângulo. Olívio Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Galvão in the 63rd minute of play. Washington Custódio stood somewhat misplaced when Donato Soeiro came free in front of goal and shot 2-3 to the left of him in the 65 minute. When Donato Soeiro came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the TodoTorto FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donato Soeiro couldn't finish the play. 77 minutes into the game, S. E. Triângulo's Alfredão Lopes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olívio Teixeira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. If Rodriguinho de Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Marquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to S. E. Triângulo getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Edu Mineiro hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Donato Soeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. TodoTorto FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Donato Soeiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Washington Custódio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 97 minutes, Rodolfo Tróia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S. E. Triângulo and the TodoTorto FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, S. E. Triângulo's Rodolfo Tróia got a free kick in the 97th minute. TodoTorto FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
