Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sandro Siqueira got the match started through his kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sandro Siqueira in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nilton de Almeida prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sandro Siqueira might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nilton de Almeida. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sandro Siqueira ran back to his position shaking his head. 15 minutes into the match, Infernales's goal looked a bit too open when Basílio Toledo came free, but Aírton Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nilton de Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandro Siqueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Joélson Goiano got free in front of the goal in the 20th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Aírton Guimarães was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. A collision led to Infernales getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Victor Xavier hit a great ball. Aírton Guimarães stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Basílio Toledo's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Infernales's goalkeeper Aírton Guimarães had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Percy de Sousa. Basílio Toledo scored 1-0 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aírton Guimarães, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aírton Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basílio Toledo in the 37th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Ramalho's Aírton Guimarães threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Basílio Toledo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some careless play in the Infernales defense, Enéas Senna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aírton Guimarães. The Infernales fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aírton Guimarães should have stopped the shot. Aírton Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joélson Goiano in the 44th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the game, Willian Maciel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Infernales's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ramalho the free kick. Willian Maciel hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joélson Goiano to make the kick off. Aírton Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juarês Vinhas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute, Willian Maciel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ramalho's Gerson Teles got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aírton Guimarães came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Ramalho's Percy de Sousa. But to his dismay, Percy de Sousa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 62nd minute Sandro Siqueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilton de Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sandro Siqueira struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Nilton de Almeida didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Infernales. Beto Toscano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Nilton de Almeida made a huge save. 70 minutes into the game, Infernales's Sandro Siqueira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nilton de Almeida made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Aírton Guimarães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Percy de Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sandro Siqueira in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nilton de Almeida saved Ramalho from getting behind. Nilton de Almeida stood somewhat misplaced when Sandro Siqueira came free in front of goal and shot 3-2 to the left of him in the 79 minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Xavier in the 83rd minute of play forced Ramalho's goalkeeper Nilton de Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th match minute, Infernales was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beto Toscano to maneuver through the defense. Sandro Siqueira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Nilton de Almeida when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 92nd minute Basílio Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aírton Guimarães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that Ramalho were the better team. Ramalho's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
