Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Joélson Goiano got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Faccio Club's zone, Joélson Goiano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. With a little luck, Faccio Club's Juvenal da Rocha got control of the ball when Percy de Sousa tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Joélson Goiano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ramalho's supporters rose to their feet, but Joélson Goiano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juvenal da Rocha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nilton de Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivo Alcântara in the 18th minute of the match. José Paulo Couto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilton de Almeida having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ivo Alcântara during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Faccio Club's Ivo Alcântara got a free kick in the 21st minute. After 60 minutes of play, Ramalho's Joélson Goiano made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
