Spectators: 6460 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1400, VIP seats: 60) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Décio Abraão got the match started through his kick off. Jeremias Esteves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Edgard de Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 5th minute, Jeremias Esteves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jeremias Esteves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th minute, Walmir de Amaral made a precise shot to the right of Edgard de Queirós. Pomarola F C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Roberto da Cunha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Caco Cerezo in the 18th minute. Samuca Tinoco hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Walmir de Amaral managed to get in a good position for a shot. FIREBALL's supporters rose to their feet, but Walmir de Amaral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgard de Queirós breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 24th minute Jeremias Esteves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgard de Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Pedrinho Melo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Walmir de Amaral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roberto da Cunha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Caco Cerezo in the 32nd minute. After some careless play in the Pomarola F C defense, Jeremias Esteves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgard de Queirós. The Pomarola F C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgard de Queirós should have stopped the shot. In the 36th match minute, FIREBALL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walmir de Amaral to maneuver through the defense. After 38 minutes, Caco Cerezo made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. FIREBALL's Roberto da Cunha tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 44th minute, Jeremias Esteves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Jeremias Esteves came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the FIREBALL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeremias Esteves couldn't finish the play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jeremias Esteves made a kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match, Jeremias Esteves tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Edgard de Queirós saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Walmir de Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caco Cerezo might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roberto da Cunha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Caco Cerezo ran back to his position shaking his head. Roberto da Cunha came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Pomarola F C's Décio Abraão. But to his dismay, Décio Abraão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Caco Cerezo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Roberto da Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caco Cerezo struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Roberto da Cunha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pomarola F C. FIREBALL's Jeremias Esteves got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of FIREBALL booed when Pomarola F C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilson Trevisan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, FIREBALL's Víktor Correia got a free kick in the 81st minute. Edgard de Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Esteves in the 86th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FIREBALL's zone, Décio Abraão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roberto da Cunha came out of the goal and Décio Abraão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
