Kauã Seco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Souto in the 3rd minute of play. After 4 minutes of play, Máquina Mortífera S.C's Claudinho Queirós made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kauã Seco was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cleiton Furlan was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Renan Tasso capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Renan Tasso really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Cleiton Furlan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Renan Tasso in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute, Valdomiro Monteiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rogério Gaúcho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cleiton Furlan having to interfere. CORNOS FUTEBOL CLUBE were furious when Fausto Maranhense was red carded, 21 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Fausto Maranhense hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Kauã Seco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Claudinho Queirós went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 30 minutes into the game, Renan Tasso recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cleiton Furlan. Renan Tasso showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. In the 39th minute, Alan Capixaba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Renan Tasso came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the CORNOS FUTEBOL CLUBE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Renan Tasso couldn't finish the play.

The wind increased when Renan Tasso made the kick off in the second half. Waldir de Queirós recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of CORNOS FUTEBOL CLUBE booed when Máquina Mortífera S.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinho Queirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cleiton Furlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renan Tasso in the 59th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Renan Tasso made a precise shot to the right of Cleiton Furlan. Máquina Mortífera S.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Waldir de Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot. CORNOS FUTEBOL CLUBE's supporters rose to their feet, but Waldir de Queirós was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cleiton Furlan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cleiton Furlan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogério Gaúcho, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. CORNOS FUTEBOL CLUBE walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
