Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Walmir de Amaral in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Simão Peres prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 11 minutes, Walmir de Amaral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FIREBALL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Walmir de Amaral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Simão Peres stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeremias Esteves's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. A collision led to FIREBALL getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Samuca Tinoco hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeremias Esteves in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Simão Peres prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Jorginho Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jorginho Moura made a kick off. Beto Terra kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Simão Peres made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Walmir de Amaral sent off a good shot on target. Walmir de Amaral struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Simão Peres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FIREBALL. Jeremias Esteves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Simão Peres having to make a save. A collision led to A. A. Francana getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Emerson Rosado hit a great ball. Iuri Carneiro hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Roberto da Cunha came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by A. A. Francana's Jorginho Moura. But to his dismay, Jorginho Moura quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 83rd minute, Iuri Carneiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute, Iuri Carneiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Walmir de Amaral came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the FIREBALL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Walmir de Amaral couldn't finish the play. Jorginho Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Roberto da Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 94 minutes of play FIREBALL's Samuca Tinoco was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of A. A. Francana booed when FIREBALL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuca Tinoco didn't get a good kick on the ball. A. A. Francana's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
