Beto Terra charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Beto Terra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Beto Terra hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute, João Hoffmann ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roberto da Cunha was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Benjamin Bezerra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeremias Esteves's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Roberto da Cunha came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ibirarema.CiTy.F.C's Nilson Brito. But to his dismay, Nilson Brito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. The supporters of FIREBALL booed when Ibirarema.CiTy.F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Debruyne didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benjamin Bezerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Esteves in the 36th minute of the match. Walmir de Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Bezerra having to interfere. Ibirarema.CiTy.F.C's João Hoffmann got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to FIREBALL getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Beto Terra hit a great ball. Thiago Pires took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Roberto da Cunha. FIREBALL's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Ibirarema.CiTy.F.C's João Hoffmann sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roberto da Cunha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. João Hoffmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Roberto da Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when João Hoffmann made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Ibirarema.CiTy.F.C's zone, Samuca Tinoco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin Bezerra came out of the goal and Samuca Tinoco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 54th minute Jeremias Esteves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Bezerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roberto da Cunha acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 56th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Adriano Andrade. Roberto da Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Hoffmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute João Hoffmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto da Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Nilson Brito notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of FIREBALL's Roberto da Cunha. Roberto da Cunha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Beto Terra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ibirarema.CiTy.F.C would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
