Spectators: 7036 (Terracing: 5411, Seating: 1625, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Rui Cunha made the kick off which started today's match. After a defensive mix-up in Massape EC's zone, Remo Linares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dorival Maciel came out of the goal and Remo Linares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 5 minutes into the match, Massape EC's goalkeeper Dorival Maciel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Remo Linares. Remo Linaress short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Dorival Maciel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 10th minute, David Mesquita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Remo Linares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Dorival Maciel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rui Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente do Vale having to interfere. If Régis de Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adilson Favoretto hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Régis de Amaral in the 24th minute of play forced Game of ThronesFC's goalkeeper Vicente do Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 28 played minutes, Game of ThronesFC's Walmyr Arce shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dorival Maciel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Game of ThronesFC reached it. If Régis de Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Massape EC booed when Game of ThronesFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adilson Favoretto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 34 played minutes, Massape EC's Basílio Arósio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vicente do Vale came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Massape EC reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Régis de Amaral in the 35th minute of play forced Game of ThronesFC's goalkeeper Vicente do Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Genílson Maranhense's late challenge caught a Game of ThronesFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Genílson Maranhense helped the player get up and apologised. Genílson Maranhense kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Vicente do Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Dorival Maciel came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Game of ThronesFC's Remo Linares. But to his dismay, Remo Linares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After having played for 63 minutes, David Mesquita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Game of ThronesFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Mesquita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 67 minutes into the match, Game of ThronesFC's goalkeeper Vicente do Vale had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Régis de Amaral. Vicente do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Régis de Amaral scored 1-1 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vicente do Vale, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Game of ThronesFC's Vicente do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui Cunha in the 76th minute of play. David Mesquita took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dorival Maciel. Dorival Maciel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Vicente do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Régis de Amaral struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Vicente do Vale didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Massape EC. In the 92nd minute, Júlio Marquez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dorival Maciel was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1.
