If Carlos Fernando Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute of the match C0RINTHIANSS FC got a corner. Vingadores.F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Chicão Mineiro ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Chicão Mineiro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Norberto Falcão quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Carlos Fernando Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the match, Inácio Tróia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Norberto Falcão. Vingadores.F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Inácio Tróia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 34 minutes into the match, Vingadores.F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Inácio Tróia came free, but Norberto Falcão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Norberto Falcão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inácio Tróia, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Inácio Tróia was extremely unlucky when he, in the 38th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Eurico do Valle struck a weak shot in the 50th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Eduardo Batista made a kick off. The tension between the Vingadores.F.C and the C0RINTHIANSS FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 76 played minutes Vingadores.F.C got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldinho Nogueira. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dino Quadros during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Adriano Cunha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eurico do Valle in the 84th minute. In the 85th match minute, C0RINTHIANSS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilmar Cunha to maneuver through the defense. In the 94thth minute of the game Inácio Tróia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vingadores.F.C's Norberto Falcão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 95th minute, Ulysses Couto had to leave the field with a concussion. A collision led to Vingadores.F.C getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Marcelo Rosado hit a great ball. Carlos Fernando Amaral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Norberto Falcão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. Osvaldinho Nogueira hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Vingadores.F.C had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
