Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Amadeu Veiga took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the game, Pedro Favoretto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santanna FC Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carobas the free kick. After 4 played minutes, Carobas's Guga Romero shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Laerte Galvão came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Carobas reached it. When Santanna FC Clube's Amadeu Veiga in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Carobas's goalie prevented a goal. 9 minutes into the match, Santanna FC Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Nilmar Costa came free, but Laerte Galvão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Jeferson Paranaense was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santanna FC Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carobas the free kick. In the 17th minute, Jeferson Paranaense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute of the match, Nilmar Costa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Laerte Galvão saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Robinho Rosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Laerte Galvão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laerte Galvão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robinho Rosa in the 22nd minute. With a little luck, Santanna FC Clube's Laerte Galvão got control of the ball when Robinho Rosa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Víktor de Souza charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Víktor de Souza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th match minute, Santanna FC Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Víktor de Souza to maneuver through the defense. Robinho Rosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laerte Galvão having to interfere. Robinho Rosas short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Laerte Galvão to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 35th minute, Nilmar Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ernesto Quadros during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 37th match minute, Carobas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Quadros to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes into the match, Carobas's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeu Veiga came free, but Sílvio Luiz Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sílvio Luiz Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeu Veiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Nilmar Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nilmar Costa struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Robinho Rosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laerte Galvão having to interfere.

The wind increased when Nilmar Costa made the kick off in the second half. Nilmar Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Laerte Galvão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th match minute, Santanna FC Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Favoretto to maneuver through the defense. Santanna FC Clube's Jeferson Paranaense got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nilmar Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laerte Galvão having to interfere. After 72 minutes, Haroldo Furtado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Santanna FC Clube and the Carobas players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Ernesto Quadros came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Carobas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernesto Quadros couldn't finish the play. Laerte Galvão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilmar Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Robinho Rosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nilmar Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Laerte Galvão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laerte Galvão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nilmar Costa in the 88th minute of the match. Sílvio Luiz Fonseca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jeferson Paranaense in the 89th minute. In the 91st minute Robinho Rosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laerte Galvão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92ndth minute of the game Nilmar Costa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Santanna FC Clube's Laerte Galvão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jeferson Paranaense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Luiz Fonseca having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Carobas players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
