After 82 minutes of play C0RINTHIANSS FC's Gilmar Cunha was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Jeferson Paranaense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adriano Cunha having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Santanna FC Clube fans cheered their team off the field, for while C0RINTHIANSS FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
