Júlio Marquez charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Júlio Marquez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 9th match minute, Game of ThronesFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júlio Marquez to maneuver through the defense. 10 minutes into the match, Vingadores.F.C's Cauan Gaspar broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. David Mesquita succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 13th playminute. When Eurico do Valle fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vingadores.F.C's protests and gave Eurico do Valle a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th minute, Eurico do Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Carlos Eduardo Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Game of ThronesFC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Doriva Vides hit a great ball. Cauan Gaspar was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 26th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Eurico do Valle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Vicente do Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute Inácio Vergílio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Eurico do Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vicente do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Eduardo Batista, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After 34 minutes of play, Vingadores.F.C's Carlos Eduardo Batista made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vicente do Vale was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Vingadores.F.C defense, David Mesquita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Norberto Falcão. The Vingadores.F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Norberto Falcão should have stopped the shot. Bernardo Hoffmann hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Carlos Eduardo Batista made the kick off in the second half. Carlos Eduardo Batista's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vicente do Vale read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. After 53 played minutes Game of ThronesFC got a freekick which was hit by Júlio Marquez. Carlos Eduardo Batista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute Carlos Eduardo Batista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Norberto Falcão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Mesquita, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After having played for 66 minutes, Eurico do Valle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vingadores.F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eurico do Valle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vicente do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Eduardo Batista in the 71st minute of play. David Mesquita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Mesquita in the 83rd minute of play forced Vingadores.F.C's goalkeeper Norberto Falcão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
