Real Real's Amadeu Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldinho Nogueira in the 4th minute of play. But to his dismay, Eurico do Valle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 15th minute, Real Real's José Augusto Marques dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. If Téo Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hermínio Dantas got free with Norberto Falcão in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 25 minutes into the match, Real Real's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Eduardo Batista came free, but Amadeu Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Vingadores.F.C's zone, Téo Dias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norberto Falcão came out of the goal and Téo Dias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hélio Freitas in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Norberto Falcão saved Vingadores.F.C from getting behind. 34 minutes into the match, Hélio Freitas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Norberto Falcão, 2-1. 38 minutes into the match, Carlos Eduardo Batista notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Real Real's Amadeu Queiroz. Amadeu Queiroz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Amadeu Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Rosado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hélio Freitas in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Norberto Falcão saved Vingadores.F.C from getting behind. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hélio Freitas in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Norberto Falcão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcelo Rosado received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Amadeu Queiroz came out and tried to block the shot, but Marcelo Rosado slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermínio Dantas in the 88th minute of play forced Vingadores.F.C's goalkeeper Norberto Falcão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rdth minute of the game Hélio Freitas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vingadores.F.C's Norberto Falcão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 95 played minutes, Real Real's Vinícius Seco shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Norberto Falcão came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Real Real reached it. 97 minutes into the game, Osvaldinho Nogueira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vingadores.F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Real the free kick.
