Spectators: 7220 (Terracing: 5416, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hernani do Vale kicked off to start the match. Celso Alcântara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edmílson Meira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Cléber Barral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dedé dos Santos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cléber Barral read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Coroa's goalkeeper Chiquinho Simão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chiquinho Simão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Barral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Coroa's Chiquinho Simão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernani do Vale in the 26th minute of play. Legionários FC's Hernani do Vale got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 40 played minutes Legionários FC got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Figueiredo. After taking down the ball on Coroa's corner Dedé dos Santos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cléber Barral quite easily take care of the ball. In the 45th minute, André Barral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Dedé dos Santos made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Aníbal de Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coroa's supporters rose to their feet, but Aníbal de Sousa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cléber Barral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cléber Barral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dedé dos Santos in the 57th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Legionários FC's André Barral got a free kick in the 58th minute. A collision led to Legionários FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Leonardo Furlan hit a great ball. Cléber Barral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmílson Meira, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Cléber Barral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dedé dos Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute Hernani do Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chiquinho Simão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute Hernani do Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chiquinho Simão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, Celso Alcântara cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Chiquinho Simão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cléber Barral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dedé dos Santos in the 92nd minute of play. Legionários FC's Hernani do Vale got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Coroa fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Legionários FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
