An unexpectedly hard shot by Naldo Recife in the 29th minute of play forced Imperium MZC's goalkeeper João de Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ian Pirani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 51 minutes of play, Imperium MZC's Felippe Velasco made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amadeu Lago was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 59th minute, Ian Pirani fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of João de Godoi, passed just outside the right post. If Renan Falcão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João de Godoi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Naldo Recife in the 78th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Imperium MZC's zone, Alexsandro Linhares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João de Godoi came out of the goal and Alexsandro Linhares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Naldo Recife recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felippe Velasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Amadeu Lago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
