Amadeu Lago made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 17 minutes into the match, Razeirense MZC's Cido Pereira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amadeu Lago narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cido Pereira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amadeu Lago read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Filipe Secco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Amadeu Lago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodolfo Rodriguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Pirani in the 63rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cido Pereira got free with Amadeu Lago in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 66th minute, Norberto Baiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by Razeirense MZC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Doriva Godoi was slow to take the kick. During this time Pichuri's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Doriva Godoi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Razeirense MZC's Rodolfo Rodriguez did a great save. Amadeu Lago stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filipe Secco's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Cido Pereira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Amadeu Lago made a huge save. Filipe Secco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeu Lago having to interfere. Amadeu Lago made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cido Pereira in the 82nd minute.
