Adelino Hermes came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Faiz o B.O.'s Tomé Baptista. But to his dismay, Tomé Baptista quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. A collision led to Faiz o B.O. getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Tomé Baptista hit a great ball. Biribiri AD's Simão Silveira got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute of the match Ian Toscano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adelino Hermes skillfully saved the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After a rather tough play, Faiz o B.O.'s Filipe Abraão got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Válter Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. In the 78th minute Jacinto Motta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tarcisio Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Faiz o B.O.'s Gilberto Capixaba got a free kick in the 79th minute. If Arí Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Biribiri AD booed when Faiz o B.O. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position.
