Diguinho Galvão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dedê da Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After having played for 11 minutes, Ronaldão Paraense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clockwork Orange's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronaldão Paraense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dedê da Silva in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diguinho Galvão saved Clockwork Orange from getting behind. 17 minutes into the match, Jerumirim's goal looked a bit too open when Wiliam Nogueira came free, but Murillo Paraense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diguinho Galvão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dedê da Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jerumirim's Délio Ferraz got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 23rd minute, Wiliam Nogueira reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Murillo Paraense. The goal made the score 1-0. 37 minutes into the match, Clockwork Orange's goal looked a bit too open when Dedê da Silva came free, but Diguinho Galvão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jerumirim's Ronaldão Proença got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dedê da Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diguinho Galvão having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Clockwork Orange's zone, Délio Ferraz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diguinho Galvão came out of the goal and Délio Ferraz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dedê da Silva in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diguinho Galvão saved Clockwork Orange from getting behind. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dedê da Silva stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dedê da Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 58 minutes, Dudu Cruz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clockwork Orange and the Jerumirim players grew even worse after the yellow card. Toninho Bertassi kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Diguinho Galvão made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Dedê da Silva sent off a good shot on target. Clockwork Orange's Toninho Bertassi got his second yellow card of the match in the 67th minute. The referee ordered Toninho Bertassi off the ground. Dedê da Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Diguinho Galvão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dedê da Silva in the 77th minute. Diguinho Galvão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulão Diniz in the 78th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the game, Paulão Diniz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Diguinho Galvão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With his leg Diguinho Galvão managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Jerumirim's Dedê da Silva fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jerumirim's Ronaldão Proença got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dedê da Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jerumirim were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Clockwork Orange to leave the ground with a draw.
