Coqueiros's Júlio Xavier got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Cristiano de Barros got free in front of the goal in the 45th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. João de Godoi was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar.

The wind increased when Renan Falcão made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Renan Falcão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Tande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felippe Velasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio Tande having to interfere. Cristiano de Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Imperium MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano de Barros came free, but João de Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Júlio Xavier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but João de Godoi made a huge save. The long shot by Frederico Breckenfeld in the 93rd minute really tested João de Godoi's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Felippe Velasco scored 1-0 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sérgio Tande, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Imperium MZC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Coqueiros had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
