Supremacia Nerd FC's Gugu do Valle got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 18 minutes into the match, Invasion Team's goalkeeper Borys Knopek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gugu do Valle. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Esteves during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. David Esteves kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After having played for 21 minutes, Benê de Senna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Invasion Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benê de Senna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Carlos Coelho in the 23rd minute of play forced Invasion Team's goalkeeper Borys Knopek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulinho Toscano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adhemar Macedo having to interfere. If Paulinho Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zé Carlos Coelho in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Borys Knopek saved Invasion Team from getting behind. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Supremacia Nerd FC's goalkeeper Adhemar Macedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adhemar Macedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulinho Toscano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benê de Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adhemar Macedo having to interfere. When Benê de Senna came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Invasion Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benê de Senna couldn't finish the play. Paulinho Toscano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Adhemar Macedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulinho Toscano was the one to do the kick off. With his leg Adhemar Macedo managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when Invasion Team's Benê de Senna fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Benê de Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adhemar Macedo having to interfere. If Paulinho Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. John Rambo kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st minute of the match Túlio Amaral shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Borys Knopek showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Paulinho Toscano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adhemar Macedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulinho Toscano in the 75th minute of play. A collision led to Supremacia Nerd FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Ian Sanches hit a great ball. 82 minutes into the match, Benê de Senna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adhemar Macedo. Supremacia Nerd FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benê de Senna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Adhemar Macedo made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Wilson Neiva sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Supremacia Nerd FC defense, Benê de Senna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adhemar Macedo. The Supremacia Nerd FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adhemar Macedo should have stopped the shot. Invasion Team played a much better game than Supremacia Nerd FC and deserved their victory. The Supremacia Nerd FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
