Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Raphael Soares made the kick off and thus started the match. A collision led to Turiassu getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Diogo Sergipano hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, José Vítor Prado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Catiara's supporters rose to their feet, but José Vítor Prado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anselmo Pitta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 5 minutes, Eusébio Meira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Turiassu and the Catiara players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5th match minute, Turiassu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusébio Meira to maneuver through the defense. Gerson Dias charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gerson Dias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Turiassu's Anselmo Pitta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Turiassu from getting a goal against them. In the 14th minute of the match, José Vítor Prado tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Anselmo Pitta saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 16th minute, Diogo Sergipano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jânio Freitas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jânio Freitas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Anselmo Pitta made a huge save. Anselmo Pitta was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and José Vítor Prado capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. José Vítor Prado really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Vítor Prado in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anselmo Pitta saved Turiassu from getting behind. Cléber Mello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerson Dias in the 28th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Vítor Prado made a kick off. In the 62nd minute José Vítor Prado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Pitta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raphael Soares blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cléber Mello having to make a save. With his leg Cléber Mello managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when Turiassu's Gerson Dias fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cléber Mello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raphael Soares in the 67th minute of play. Cléber Mello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raphael Soares, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. If Gerson Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jânio Freitas took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anselmo Pitta. Anselmo Pitta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Gerson Dias kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Catiara were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Turiassu for a fine match.
