Diguinho Ferreira hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Guzolandia AD's Sidney Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chiquinho do Vale in the 31st minute of play. Sidney Duarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chiquinho do Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Carlos Hermes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sidney Duarte having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonathan Peres to strike the kick off in the second half. Dé Moreno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gláuber Trancoso having to interfere. Gláuber Trancoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Peres, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Sidney Duarte as he didn't even see the shot coming. Chiquinho do Vale scored 2-2 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sidney Duarte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Chiquinho do Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Sidney Duarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Pescoco's zone, Jonathan Peres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gláuber Trancoso came out of the goal and Jonathan Peres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Samuca Dias charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Samuca Dias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 92 played minutes Guzolandia AD got a freekick which was hit by Samuca Dias. Chiquinho do Vale spun around in front of the goal 94 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Guzolandia AD's goal. João Carlos Hermes might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sidney Duarte. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. João Carlos Hermes ran back to his position shaking his head. The Pescoco players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Guzolandia AD from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
