Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Raphael Soares got the match started through his kick off. Turiassu's Anselmo Pitta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basílio de Mendonça in the 5th minute of play. Anselmo Pitta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basílio de Mendonça in the 13th minute of play. Raphael Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavinho da Costa having to interfere. In the 17th minute Raphael Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavinho da Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavinho da Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raphael Soares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute, Eusébio Meira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute, Clóvis Tavares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 28 minutes into the game, Basílio de Mendonça cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Anselmo Pitta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 33 played minutes União Agrícola Barbarense got a freekick which was hit by Dedé Leme. Gerson Dias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 38th minute, Diogo Sergipano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basílio de Mendonça in the 40th minute of play forced Turiassu's goalkeeper Anselmo Pitta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anselmo Pitta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basílio de Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Davi Alvarenga struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Flavinho da Costa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Turiassu.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Basílio de Mendonça to strike the kick off in the second half. When Raphael Soares came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Turiassu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raphael Soares couldn't finish the play. After 53 played minutes União Agrícola Barbarense got a freekick which was hit by Douglas Tepedino. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basílio de Mendonça in the 57th minute of play forced Turiassu's goalkeeper Anselmo Pitta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 59 minutes, Gerson Dias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Turiassu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerson Dias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Raphael Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Basílio de Mendonça received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Anselmo Pitta came out and tried to block the shot, but Basílio de Mendonça slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 66th minute. Flavinho da Costa came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Turiassu's Raphael Soares. But to his dismay, Raphael Soares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 78 minutes into the game, Basílio de Mendonça recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Anselmo Pitta. Basílio de Mendonça showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Clóvis Tavares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Pitta having to interfere. Raphael Soares might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Flavinho da Costa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raphael Soares ran back to his position shaking his head. 86 minutes into the match, Raphael Soares notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of União Agrícola Barbarense's Flavinho da Costa. Flavinho da Costa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 92 minutes of play Turiassu's Diogo Sergipano was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Diogo Sergipano hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Turiassu's Anselmo Pitta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basílio de Mendonça in the 94th minute of play. Although Turiassu had been in control for most of the match, União Agrícola Barbarense still came away with the win.
