Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vágner Torres started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Jonathan Peres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guzolandia AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonathan Peres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luciano Magalhães breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Guzolandia AD getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Diguinho Ferreira hit a great ball. 6 minutes into the game, Dorival Duarte cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Sidney Duarte was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 9 played minutes Independente got a freekick which was hit by Vágner Torres. Jonathan Peres got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 1-1 in the right cross in the 12th match minute before Luciano Magalhães had time to react. A hard shot 16 in the game by Dé Moreno from a close distance when the talented Luciano Magalhães managed to make a qualified save. Independente's players were relieved. In the 17th minute, Guzolandia AD's Jonathan Peres dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. In the 25thth minute of the game Jonathan Peres who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Independente's Luciano Magalhães was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Independente booed when Guzolandia AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dé Moreno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Peres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Independente's zone, Dé Moreno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luciano Magalhães came out of the goal and Dé Moreno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Peres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Magalhães having to interfere. Luciano Magalhães made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dé Moreno in the 39th minute. Jonathan Peres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Luciano Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Independente's goalkeeper Luciano Magalhães had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dé Moreno. Luciano Magalhães came out of the goal and Jonathan Peres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jonathan Peres made a kick off. Luciano Magalhães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Peres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dorival Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Sidney Duarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 59 minutes, Dé Moreno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guzolandia AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dé Moreno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Jonathan Peres notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Independente's Luciano Magalhães. Luciano Magalhães was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Guzolandia AD's Diguinho Ferreira got his second yellow card of the match in the 63rd minute. The referee ordered Diguinho Ferreira off the ground. Sidney Duarte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Independente. Sidney Duarte made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Dorival Duarte sent off a good shot on target. After 95 played minutes Guzolandia AD got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Peres. Dé Moreno scored 4-1 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luciano Magalhães, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
