Bernardinho Breckenfeld blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edgard de Castro having to make a save. 44 minutes into the game, one of Mantena Canela de Aço:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave BOCA DO LEÃO FC a penalty, 46 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jairo Senna, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Mantena Canela de Aço's Edgard de Castro. 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Renato Gaúcho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. BOCA DO LEÃO FC were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after Mantena Canela de Aço's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jairo Senna took the corner. After taking down the ball on BOCA DO LEÃO FC's corner Jairo Schmidt fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Edgard de Castro quite easily take care of the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded.
