If Paulinho Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Borys Knopek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Peres, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. The supporters of Guzolandia AD booed when Invasion Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilson Neiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulinho Toscano in the 29th minute of play forced Guzolandia AD's goalkeeper Sidney Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dé Moreno who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Borys Knopek when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpected shot in the 43rd minute by Jonathan Peres got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. José Vítor Pinheiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dé Moreno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Borys Knopek having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Benê de Senna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
