Hortêncio Gomes's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gláuber Trancoso firmly grabbed it by the left post. Dida de Queiroz might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gláuber Trancoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
