Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Jonathan Peres started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Cléber Mello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dé Moreno in the 5th minute of play. Dé Moreno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cléber Mello having to interfere. José Vítor Prado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th minute, José Vítor Pinheiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee gave Catiara a penalty, 20 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jarbas Souto, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Guzolandia AD's Sidney Duarte. 1-1. Sidney Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Vítor Prado, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Catiara's Cléber Mello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Peres in the 29th minute of play. In the 37thth minute of the game Dé Moreno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Catiara's Cléber Mello was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Guzolandia AD's Jonathan Peres got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dé Moreno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Cléber Mello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Catiara getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Hermínio Massa hit a great ball. Catiara's Cléber Mello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dé Moreno in the 46th minute of play. Dé Moreno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Cléber Mello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when José Vítor Prado made the kick off in the second half. Dé Morenos short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Cléber Mello to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jânio Freitas struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Sidney Duarte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Catiara. Dé Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cléber Mello stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dé Moreno's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute, Jonathan Peres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sidney Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jânio Freitas, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 73 minutes into the match, Dé Moreno notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Catiara's Cléber Mello. Cléber Mello was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 76th match minute, Catiara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caetano Nogueira to maneuver through the defense. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dé Moreno couldn't finish the play.
