Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Serginho Sabóia made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpected shot in the 11th minute by Adelino Loureiro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 14th minute Geraldo Pernambucano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Marinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adelino Loureiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yuri Saraiva having to make a save. 15 minutes into the match, Raposo's goal looked a bit too open when Adelino Loureiro came free, but Yuri Saraiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yuri Saraiva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adelino Loureiro in the 17th minute. Adelino Loureiro scored 1-0 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yuri Saraiva, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zé Leite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Raposo's Yuri Saraiva got control of the ball when Adelino Loureiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 33 played minutes Botafogo BA got a freekick which was hit by Adelino Loureiro. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Agostinho Schmidt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Botafogo BA's supporters rose to their feet, but Agostinho Schmidt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yuri Saraiva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adelino Loureiro got free with Yuri Saraiva in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benjamin Gerber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yuri Saraiva having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adelino Loureiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Botafogo BA's Charles Marinho got control of the ball when Valdir Fernandez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yuri Saraiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adelino Loureiro in the 55th minute of the match. Rômulo Vergílio's late challenge caught a Botafogo BA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rômulo Vergílio helped the player get up and apologised. After 56 played minutes Raposo got a freekick which was hit by Rômulo Vergílio. The supporters of Botafogo BA booed when Raposo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serginho Sabóia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute there was a penalty for Botafogo BA. Adelino Loureiro stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Yuri Saraiva. 2-0. Yuri Saraiva came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Botafogo BA's Adelino Loureiro. But to his dismay, Adelino Loureiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 71stth minute of the game Adelino Loureiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Raposo's Yuri Saraiva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Yuri Saraiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adelino Loureiro in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Agostinho Schmidt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 77 minutes, Agostinho Schmidt made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Raposo's Yuri Saraiva tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adelino Loureiro in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yuri Saraiva saved Raposo from getting behind. If Gabriel Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the game, Botafogo BA's Adelino Loureiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yuri Saraiva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. After 89th play minutes Adelino Loureiro shot 6-0, a short shot which went by Yuri Saraiva and just under the crossbar into goal. Yuri Saraiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Melo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Botafogo BA fully deserved thier win.
