Walmyr Dracena's late challenge caught a Black Dragons Fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Charles Marinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Perivaldo Cunha in the 53rd minute of the match. With his leg Vágner Braga managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Botafogo BA's Adelino Loureiro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Perivaldo Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Charles Marinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Perivaldo Cunha in the 58th minute of play. Vágner Braga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agostinho Schmidt in the 62nd minute. Adelino Loureiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Botafogo BA's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
