Marcus Quintal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. KatimbeiroS - FSCMZ's Noel Prata managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Emanuel Veloso in the 17 minute of the game. After a rather tough play, KatimbeiroS - FSCMZ's Diguinho das Neves got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Gilvan Lago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Robinho Couto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute Eliseu das Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robinho Couto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to ChapeTerror getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Washington Veiga hit a great ball. Sandrinho Borges stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcus Quintal's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. The ChapeTerror players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. KatimbeiroS - FSCMZ were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gilvan Lago made a kick off. Marcus Quintal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandrinho Borges having to interfere. Sandrinho Borges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernani Linares, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. With his leg Sandrinho Borges managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when KatimbeiroS - FSCMZ's João Francisco Sanches fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. ChapeTerror's Sandrinho Borges proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save ChapeTerror from getting a goal against them. A collision led to ChapeTerror getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Eliseu das Neves hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice moves João Francisco Sanches could shoot a difficult shot in the 65th minute, which Sandrinho Borges however easily saved by the left post. ChapeTerror's defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when Marcus Quintal scored to the left of an out of position Sandrinho Borges, making the score, 0-2. The long shot by Aílton Prata in the 92nd minute really tested Sandrinho Borges's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. ChapeTerror's Sandrinho Borges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Quintal in the 95th minute of play.
