Maicon Batista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Augusto Schmidt in the 7th minute of the match. Fred de Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Gernando Macedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. SANTOS FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gernando Macedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mateus Ferraz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. SANTOS FC's Jeremias Couto got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Saideira Futebol Clube's Mateus Ferraz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Couto in the 17th minute of play. Saideira Futebol Clube's Mateus Ferraz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Saideira Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. If Jeremias Couto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Saideira Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Rodriguinho Neves hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Augusto Schmidt in the 26th minute of play forced SANTOS FC's goalkeeper Maicon Batista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Augusto Schmidt charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedro Augusto Schmidt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fred de Barros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Maicon Batista stood somewhat misplaced when Fred de Barros came free in front of goal and shot 0-1 to the left of him in the 64 minute. The audience was convinced that Fred de Barros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maicon Batista was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. With a little luck, SANTOS FC's Maicon Batista got control of the ball when Pedro Augusto Schmidt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mateus Ferraz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gláuber Peixoto in the 75th minute of the match. Zé Carlos Cordeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fred de Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maicon Batista having to interfere. The SANTOS FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Saideira Futebol Clube's performance. The match ended with a win for Saideira Futebol Clube.
