After 10 played minutes Massape got a freekick which was hit by Cássio Amorim. In the 16th minute Eliézer Martins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Túlio Marinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eliézer Martins got in the 27th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Túlio Marinho handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Hílton Valle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Massape's supporters rose to their feet, but Hílton Valle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Murilo Tande breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. União Andreense F.C's Murilo Tande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cássio Amorim in the 30th minute of play. Michel Quintal kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute Tadeu Gonçalves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Túlio Marinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Túlio Marinho came out of the goal and Tadeu Gonçalves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

If Hílton Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Murilo Tande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cássio Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Túlio Marinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeu Gonçalves in the 58th minute of the match. Caco Ramos hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Eliézer Martinss short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Túlio Marinho to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Massape's Agostinho Campidelis got a free kick in the 68th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Tadeu Gonçalves managed to get in a good position for a shot. União Andreense F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Tadeu Gonçalves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Massape's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave União Andreense F.C the free kick. The supporters of União Andreense F.C booed when Massape was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diogo Santana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Túlio Marinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeu Gonçalves in the 78th minute of play. When Massape's Cássio Amorim in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Murilo Tande came out of the goal and Hílton Valle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tadeu Gonçalves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
