The supporters of Guajaratuba booed when Xambioa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armandinho Queirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. Duda Magalhães came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Xambioa's Marcinho Leme. But to his dismay, Marcinho Leme quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Paulo Renato Monteiro's late challenge caught a Xambioa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulo Renato Monteiro helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Guajaratuba getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Paulo Renato Monteiro hit a great ball. In the 80th minute Kiko Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duda Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armandinho Queirós hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
