Álvaro Negri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nelsinho Cabral having to make a save. 35 minutes into the game, Kiko Marques cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Tadeu Marquez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cleiton Coelho hit a great ball. In the 59th minute Cleiton Coelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelsinho Cabral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Djow FC's Tadeu Marquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kiko Marques in the 72nd minute of play. Djow FC's Álvaro Negri got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 91st minute Marcinho Leme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeu Marquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cauan Maranhense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Nelsinho Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xambioa's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
