An unexpectedly hard shot by Guga da Mata in the 74th minute of play forced Sport Club Goldenbats's goalkeeper Reynaldo de Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Luís Cabral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gernando Guedes in the 88th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Guga da Mata managed to get in a good position for a shot. Unimatriz - Bye Bye MZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Guga da Mata was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reynaldo de Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Unimatriz - Bye Bye MZ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
