Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Umberto de Mendonça made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, O Pudim's Cléber de Sena got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Válbson Mineiro's late challenge caught a O Pudim's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Válbson Mineiro helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Thunder F.C. getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Válbson Mineiro hit a great ball.
