After 14 played minutes FC Schunck got a freekick which was hit by Giuseppe Gaspar. 17 minutes into the match, FC Schunck's goal looked a bit too open when Chiquinho Gaúcho came free, but Rui Ferraz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luiz Fábio Moreira charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luiz Fábio Moreira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th minute, Luiz Fábio Moreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the match, Pech Futebol Clube's Túlio Romero broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Chiquinho Gaúcho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the match, Pech Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Luisão de Mendonça had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kauan Ceresso. Chiquinho Gaúcho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Ferraz having to interfere. With a little luck, Pech Futebol Clube's Luisão de Mendonça got control of the ball when Igor Paulista tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 31st minute, Kauan Ceresso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC Schunck's Igor Paulista got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Kauan Ceresso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luisão de Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Paulista in the 39th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Pech Futebol Clube's Pedro Augusto Borges got a free kick in the 40th minute. After 48 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Schunck! The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chiquinho Gaúcho to make the kick off. Rui Ferraz made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Guilherme Damião sent off a good shot on target. In the 64th minute, Igor Paulista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Kauan Ceresso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guilherme Damião could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Rui Ferraz made a huge save. In the 71st minute, Igor Paulista left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Schunck fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Rui Ferraz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chiquinho Gaúcho, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Chiquinho Gaúcho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Ferraz having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, FC Schunck's goal looked a bit too open when Chiquinho Gaúcho came free, but Rui Ferraz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Schunck's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
