Dário Eger helped the player get up and apologised. The Unidos do Morro fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Unidos do Morro's Marcos Custódio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in FC Schunck's zone, Marcos Custódio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rui Ferraz came out of the goal and Marcos Custódio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcos Custódio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rui Ferraz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor de Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Gustavo Koehler kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Lucas Luz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Paulista in the 25th minute of the match. When Gustavo Koehler fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Unidos do Morro's protests and gave Gustavo Koehler a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Unidos do Morro getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Gustavo Koehler hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Giuseppe Gaspar managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Schunck's supporters rose to their feet, but Giuseppe Gaspar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucas Luz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Kauan Ceresso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Igor Paulista kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. When Marcos Custódio came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Unidos do Morro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcos Custódio couldn't finish the play. Cleiton Sergipano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, Marcos Custódio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rui Ferraz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Custódio in the 46th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcos Custódio to strike the kick off in the second half. Rui Ferraz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Custódio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th minute, Nestor de Barros left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Unidos do Morro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Cleiton Sergipano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rui Ferraz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Custódio in the 60th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, FC Schunck's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Custódio came free, but Rui Ferraz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Custódio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Ferraz having to interfere. After 74 minutes, Igor Paulista mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Schunck and the Unidos do Morro players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 75 played minutes FC Schunck got a freekick which was hit by Igor Paulista. If Marcos Custódio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Unidos do Morro getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Marcos Custódio hit a great ball. When Marcos Custódio came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Unidos do Morro fans jumped to their feet. After 91 minutes of play, Unidos do Morro's Nestor de Barros made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
