Magno Proença showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor de Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute, Marcos Custódio fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Magno Proença, passed just outside the right post. When Renato Sena fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Magno Proença guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcos Custódio to strike the kick off in the second half. Jacinto Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magno Proença having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Nestor de Barros notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Coastal City S.A.'s Magno Proença.
