To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cícero Massa made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Betinho Porto sent off a good shot on target. Cícero Massa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jailson Leite in the 12th minute of the match. Cícero Massa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Betinho Porto in the 15th minute. In the 29th minute Betinho Porto clashed with another player. He fell to the ground and was in great pain. It was obvious that he couldn't finish the game. After 29 minutes, Caetano Cabral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Taderinha and the ArAgOoN FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 34th minute, Jailson Leite hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to ArAgOoN FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Reinaldo Dantas hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the match, Taderinha's goalkeeper Cícero Massa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jefferson Castro. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Taderinha's goalkeeper Cícero Massa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Jefferson Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cléber Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. Sandrinho Couto came out of the goal and Cléber Gonçalves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Cléber Gonçalves's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sandrinho Couto firmly grabbed it by the left post. Jailson Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Cícero Massa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cícero Massa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jefferson Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jailson Leite in the 58th minute of play forced Taderinha's goalkeeper Cícero Massa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Taderinha's goal looked a bit too open when Jailson Leite came free, but Cícero Massa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jefferson Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celso de Mendonça's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sandrinho Couto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Cícero Massa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jailson Leite, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Cléber Gonçalves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Taderinha's supporters rose to their feet, but Cléber Gonçalves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sandrinho Couto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Cléber Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee felt a red card was in order, 88 minutes into the game, when Ademir Lopes put in a rough tackle. When Taderinha's Celso de Mendonça in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ArAgOoN FC's goalie prevented a goal.
