Ricardo Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chiquinho Nogueira having to interfere. In the 11th of the match, Zeca Neves tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Noel Veiga got in the way and made a wonderful save. The supporters of Datas booed when Lion Azul FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murillo Xavier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardo Souzas short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Chiquinho Nogueira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 94 minutes of play, Lion Azul FC's Zeca Neves made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
