Celso de Mendonça started the match with the kick off. Cícero Massa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enio Nogueira in the 3rd minute. Gonçalo Donatello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cléber Gonçalves in the 6th minute of play. After 8 minutes, Cléber Negri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Taderinha and the Xexéu F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cléber Negri hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Cléber Gonçalves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xexéu F.C's Gonçalo Donatello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso de Mendonça in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Dorian Passos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Enio Nogueira came free with the goalkeeper in the 20th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cícero Massa could save by the left post. If Enio Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cícero Massa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorian Passos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute, Enio Nogueira fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorian Passos in the 28th minute of play forced Taderinha's goalkeeper Cícero Massa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enio Nogueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 36th minute by Dorian Passos got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Cléber Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dorian Passos made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorian Passos in the 52nd minute of play forced Taderinha's goalkeeper Cícero Massa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Taderinha's goalkeeper Cícero Massa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Enio Nogueira came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Xexéu F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enio Nogueira couldn't finish the play. Cícero Massa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enio Nogueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute Celso de Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonçalo Donatello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cléber Gonçalves took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gonçalo Donatello. Gonçalo Donatello dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 80 minutes of play, Xexéu F.C's Dorian Passos made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cícero Massa was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 87 minutes, Enio Nogueira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Xexéu F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enio Nogueira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Xexéu F.C booed when Taderinha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cauan França didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 89 played minutes, Xexéu F.C's Flavinho Damião shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cícero Massa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Xexéu F.C reached it. After a rather tough play, Taderinha's Cléber Gonçalves got a free kick in the 91st minute. After 95 minutes, Celso de Mendonça made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Xexéu F.C's Gonçalo Donatello tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Taderinha players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
